We prioritize safety, environmental compliance, and the efficiency of our recycling operations. To maintain these standards, we are unable to accept certain items. Please review the list of prohibited materials below before bringing your scrap to our facility.

Hazardous Materials

We cannot accept items that pose a chemical or toxic risk, including:

  • Chemicals, solvents, or any toxic substances
  • Asbestos-containing materials
Flammable or Explosive Items

For safety reasons, flammable or explosive materials are strictly prohibited, such as:

  • Propane tanks, gas cylinders, or other pressurized containers
  • Ammunition, explosives, or fireworks
Radioactive Materials

We are unable to process any materials containing radioactive substances, including:

  • Medical equipment with radioactive components
  • Nuclear-related waste
Household Hazardous Waste

Toxic household items that are not suitable for recycling include:

  • Paints, varnishes, and paint thinners
  • Pesticides, herbicides, and other household chemicals
Sealed Containers

Closed or sealed containers that have not been cleaned or certified safe, such as:

  • Barrels
  • Tanks
  • Drums
Medical Waste

For health and safety reasons, we do not accept:

  • Needles or syringes
  • Biohazardous materials from healthcare facilities
Mercury-Containing Devices

Due to environmental risks, we cannot accept items containing mercury, such as:

  • Thermostats
  • Switches
Oil and Contaminated Items

Materials contaminated with oil or petroleum products, including:

  • Oil filters
  • Greasy rags
  • Items soaked in fuel or oil
Liquids

No liquids of any kind, including:

  • Motor oil
  • Antifreeze
  • Paint
  • Other fluids
Non-Recyclable Plastics and Glass

Items not accepted in standard recycling streams include:

  • Plastics
  • Glass, such as light bulbs or tempered glass
Wood, Dirt, and Concrete

We do not accept non-metallic materials, including:

  • Wood
  • Dirt
  • Concrete
Rubber

We do not accept any rubber materials, including:

  • Tires
  • Belts
  • Other rubbers
